: The Tale of Ellie's Tail
Sunday
19th December 2021
A
short walk over territory we haven't visited
for a while was the brief. An added
bonus was that Ellie agreed to come with
us.

Stage
one: Moorhowe Road to the Borrans
Reservoir.

Stage
two: By-pass the Keep Out signs to have
picnic by the Borrans reservoir.

Stage
three: Continue round by High Borrans where
Ellie would choose a long twig (or was it
a small branch?) that she could wave for
the next few minutes.
Stage
four: Something mysterious happens.
Ellie grows a tail. How did
that happen?

Stage
five: Return to the car. Ellie
still has a tail. Remarkable.
A
great little walk, mostly in bright sunshine
and enlivened by non-stop chatter from Ellie
and the tale of her tail.
