The Great Cretan Photo Competition

The Great Cretan Photo Competition is open to the three couples, Antoniardi-Shore, Freeman-Shore and Shore-Massara plus a surprise entry in each category by Luca.

All photos submitted had to be taken whilst on holiday together in Crete in October / November 2011.

The competition is in four sections. Each entrant is entitled to submit up to four entries in each of the four sections: Luca, People, Places and Things.

For the first round of voting, each member of every couple (excluding Luca) is asked to nominate, in order of preference, their three favourite photos in each category excluding any taken by that couple,

For each submission, the highest ranked photo in each category will be awarded 5 points, the second 3 points and the third 1 point.

The aggregate scores in each category will determine the winner for that category.

In the event of a tie for first place, everyone excluding Don and Luca will be eligible to vote for their favourite of the tied photos. If as a result there is still a tie, Don will have the casting vote between the tied photos.

For the avoidance of doubt, only photos inside the frames and with a reference are eligible for the competition. The remainder are simply souvenirs!
