GLW2016 : First Day Of Lockdown

This was actually part of the BOOTboys' second Scatter Gun Event BB2039 but, because of social distancing, no other BOOTboys were involved with this particular section.  Once again, it was a familiar walk- dating back to January 1975 when we sat in magnificent sunshine overlooking a sunken Kendal thanks to a temperature inversion.  Not quite such good weather today but still pleasant walking.

It was certainly better weather than the BOOTboys visit in 2012

 Not so much fun for the person who lost his or her car keys!

Distant views weren't wonderful but you could clearly see the intriguing circular mound.
