GLW2207
: A Great Little Puzzle
Tuesday
1st March 20022
“Giving
Two Hoots”, as per last time out (GLW2206),
happened to correspond roughly with the
answer to a puzzle that Jamie had been doing
contemporaneously. This led him to challenge
me to write the report using crossword type
clues.
Well,
here goes (though just acrosses, no downs).
Photos might or might not relate to
the clues. You could find the map,
below,
helpful. Hopefully, it's a Great Little
Puzzle. Best of luck!

We
started near the brick that
a hen had laid.
|
2
|
Headed
north up the bridle path where
we passed some steps to appetise
Nigel.
|
3
|
Lovely
day, to the south we could see
a bugler oohing.
|
4
|
Was
that a small van in the sky?
|
5
|
We
stopped for lunch at an elevated
house on the hill where you
can scout for a trig point.
|
6
|
A
piece of string tied up a single
floating platform.
|
7
|
Who
was the elderly chap across
the valley?
|
8
|
A
crustacean plant led us back
to the A65.
|
9
|
Margaret
looked enviously at the things
that were not being sold by
Percival Black Woman.
|
10
|
At
the stream we looked for a car
but didn’t use it.
|
11
|
Instead
we headed east across the fields
in front of Lupton Tower, looking
for a tube line.
|
12
|
Finally
we were back at the vehicle
also known as Ruiz Vitus.
|
Hope
you found it a Great Little Puzzle. Answers
on request.
